A 2008 zoning case then-Mesa City Council members called one of the toughest they’d seen is back on the table, and despite a few tweaks, it hasn’t gotten any simpler.
Elected officials already are butting heads regarding how the case should be handled if it makes it to the council dais, debating whether promises made to the public should remain untouched or whether an evolving economic landscape warrants an evolution in thinking.
