Sure, you’re getting used to the news by now: Home prices are going up. And up. For at least a few moons now, the rise has been steady and steep, either getting close to precrash levels or surpassing them. But for you eager home buyers looking for some favorable financial news, fear not: According to the latest reports, prices are continuing their uphill climb, but the hill isn’t quite as steep.
The numbers are a little fuzzy, based on Tuesday’s S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices, which released data for May 2015.
